Propel Talking Points for Advisor Recruitment

When speaking with advisors who are considering a move to HUB, here are the primary talking points to mention about Propel.

Inforce Data Feeds with All Carriers

With the data feeds built-in Propel, the advisor's entire insurance block of business will automatically be populated in Propel. No more manual entry, imports, or long wait times with inforce data requests.

Most carriers will update the data files weekly (others will be monthly). Advisors and their admin staff will save a lot time compared to any other client management offering!

Accurate Opportunity Alerts and Filters

Since Propel is designed for insurance, built-in opportunity alerts and filters will be provided for applicable clients. These alerts are provided much earlier than they would see from the insurance companies.

Back Office Meets Front Office

All policy data in Propel can be used in an insurance presentation to compare versus a new recommendation. This means the traditional features of a back-office CRM are blended with a front-end/client-facing application.

With this functionality, it will eliminate unnecessary duplicate entries of client data.

Propel vs LDA

Advisors may be familiar with or use LDA with their current MGA. Here are the main differences you need to know;

  1. Propel offers data feeds of client and policy information that's updated weekly. Propel requires no set-up to load this information. LDA can import the block of business files on behalf of the advisor upon set-up of their subscription and one a year after that. The set-up of this information takes 4-8 weeks and requires the advisor to provide LDA with their advisor codes to start the request process.
  2. Single Sign-On (SSO).  By connecting Propel to HUB's portal, advisors will have an additional layer of security to their information not offered in LDA.
  3. Propel is a faster application, since there is less data to process for only HUB advisors compared to advisors across Canada with any MGA, bank, wealth management firm, etc.
  4. LDA is more expensive than Propel. At $99 per month, advisors will save $265 annually, compared to what they'd pay outside of HUB.
